Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 June 2026
Slipper Digital Inc. ("Slipper Digital," "we," "us," or "our") builds free, searchable knowledge libraries and the tools and products that act on them. This policy explains what information we collect when you use slipperdigital.com, our Knowledge Hub at hub.slipperdigital.com, and our products (together, the "Services"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

1. What we collect
We only collect information that we actually need to run the Services:
Information you give us
- Email address — when you join a waitlist, subscribe for updates, or contact us. Some waitlist forms also ask optional questions (for example, your role or what you're building) which you may leave blank.
- Messages — anything you send us by email or through a contact or partnership form.
- Purchase details — when you buy a product, the transaction is handled by our payment processor (see Payments). We receive confirmation of the sale and your email, but we do not see or store your full card details.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data — like your browser type, device, approximate region, and the pages you view, gathered through standard server logs and our hosting and content-delivery providers to keep the site secure and working.
2. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Send you the updates, early access, or waitlist information you signed up for;
- Deliver products you've purchased and provide support;
- Respond to your questions, feedback, and partnership enquiries;
- Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Services;
- Comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run third-party advertising on our Services.
3. Why we're allowed to use it
Where data-protection law (such as the Nigeria Data Protection Act or the EU/UK GDPR) applies, we rely on these grounds: your consent (for example, joining a mailing list, which you can withdraw at any time); performance of a contract (to deliver a product you bought); and our legitimate interests in running and securing the Services, provided those interests don't override your rights.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the Services, and only as needed:
- Kit (ConvertKit) — to store email subscriptions and send updates;
- Gumroad — to process purchases and deliver digital products;
- Cloudflare and GitHub Pages — to host and deliver the website and Knowledge Hub securely.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites we link to.
5. Payments
Purchases are processed by Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record for our digital products. When you buy something, you enter your payment details directly with Gumroad on their secure checkout — we never receive or store your card number. Gumroad's handling of your payment data is governed by their own privacy policy. We receive only the information needed to fulfil and support your order, such as your email and what you purchased.
6. Cookies & analytics
Our own pages use little to no tracking. We may use essential cookies and the standard logs of our hosting and security providers (such as Cloudflare) to keep the site safe and functioning. Third-party services we rely on — like Gumroad's checkout or Kit's forms — may set their own cookies when you interact with them, governed by their policies. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; essential functions may not work without them.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — for example, we keep your email on our list until you unsubscribe, and purchase records for as long as required for support, accounting, and legal reasons. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. To make any other request, email us at support@slipperdigital.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and we rely on established providers (Kit, Gumroad, Cloudflare, GitHub) that maintain their own security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18 (or the age of majority where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. International users
We operate from Nigeria and use service providers that may store and process data in other countries. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws. We take steps to ensure your information remains protected wherever it is handled.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be made clear on this page. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
